On January 7, 2007 I uploaded the below photo explaining this fishing style:

This video was taken by a kid of a kid fishing for a sardine with my camera. At the end of the video, if you look close and listen to the narrator, you will realize the fisherman hooked a fish! The hooked fish is immediately thrown out into the school of other sardines in an attempt to attract larger, predator fish! The dark color in the lagoon is the school of sardines - sometimes these schools number into the tens of thousands if not millions! The kids use a can with fishing string rapped around it and one hook as you see here.

It is truly cool to watch. I actually got good at this! LOL! I had a number of kids tell me that I was the first white man they ever saw catch a fish this way - some said, “I don’t believe it!� It was cool as hell and just a part of me teaching them that no matter what skin color we have - we are all the same! They are so used to seeing Americans come and go with so much money! I was the first EVER American contractor in the region I was working to totally immerse myself into their culture and learn their language. Because of this I became aware of injustices to include criminal activity that is backed and supported by the very police agency I was employed by - the Kwajalein Police Department where I was a Sergeant. I refused to take part in this blatant discrimination and racism! As a result I was eventually forced to leave the Marshall Islands after speaking out about these crimes and injustices for years.

Tonight I realized something! I realized I have hundreds of videos like this I have yet to upload that would make a good contribution to my stream and message here. It is because of the kids you see here that I continue to fight the way I fight! The so called “leaders� within KPD and USAKA thought they were getting rid of a problem by framing me and treating me like a criminal…LOL! Little do they know…the battle has just begun…. ;-)
